Always bustling with new projects, here's a glimpse of what's currently in progress.
.NET MAUI has been a passion of mine for what seems like 10 years. Like before Microsoft purchased Xamarin. I use it mostly to learn new skills and test out new technology like AI.
- MyNextBook - is a mobile app intended to help a user keep track of what books they have read in a series and prompt them when I new book in the series comes out. This is the original mobile app I started ages ago and I keep through more features into the kitchen sink with this one and don't seem to be able to get across the finish line. Mostly cause I like to just try new things out all the time.
- MyRecipeBookMaker - another .NET MAUI app. This one I started to test out integration with Azure AI OpenAI and various other AI tech. Take a picture of all those recipes, translate it into a database, allow the user to create/print out a recipe book of their own design. Utilize voice commands to update recipe information. And create an avatar to walk you through the recipe.
- Replit.ai - some cool new tech that builds web based applications from AI prompts. This is intriguing and is a picture into the future of what programming is predominately going to look like.
- Integrating Small Language Models on mobile device's enabling AI without a service call.
- AR - integrating AI into Augment Reality Glasses
